Availability: I'm available full-time, Monday to Sunday. I work during the holidays and overtime as needed. Daily Capacity: Around 3,500 words (translation), 5,000 words (post-editing). I am a professional with more than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. I am capable of delivering excellent quality at an affordable rate. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. I am a Colombian guy who is currently working in Russia, I have been here for more than 5 consecutive years. My native language is Spanish, I have learned English since my childhood and also because I do not live in Colombia, as a personal goal I decided to learn the Russian language, currently I have a good level in all three languages. I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Costa Rica and I am a certified translator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have extensive experience in translating documents from assorted themes, ranging from legal, and medical matters, to environmental, marketing and business material. I will deliver a professional translation since I am familiar with the different varieties of Spanish, colloquialisms and local uses for Spain and many Latin American countries. I also studied Italian and French, and can understand and communicate in both languages fairly well. As for computer skills I work on daily basis with programs such as Word, Excell and Powerpoint.
